The Presidency of Religious Affairs is organizing a nationwide “Umrah Awarded Youth Knowledge Contest” to contribute to the personal and spiritual development of university students.
Application Requirements and Dates

Application Period: December 15, 2025 – March 15, 2026 (until 23:59).

Eligibility: Only undergraduate and associate degree students enrolled in formal education who were born on or after January 1, 1998.

Ineligibility: Graduate (Master’s/PhD) students, non-Turkish citizens, and public sector employees (civil servants or contract personnel) are not eligible.

Registration: Applications must be submitted online at yarisma.diyanet.gov.tr.
Contest Details

Date and Time: April 11, 2026, at 14:30.

Format: The exam will be conducted in person at designated centers.

Exam Structure: It consists of 50 questions with a duration of 80 minutes.

Scoring: Each correct answer is worth 2 points; incorrect answers do not reduce the score.

Study Material: Selected sections regarding the Prophet Muhammad from volumes 6 and 7 of the Presidency’s publication “Hadislerle İslam”.

Theme: “Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), Mercy to the Worlds on the 1500th Anniversary of His Birth”.
Awards

The top 100 students in the overall national ranking will be awarded an Umrah trip by the Presidency.

Local Mufti offices may provide additional awards to other successful students based on their local rankings and resources.
