Mission
The mission of the Department is to educate civil engineers who bring together materials, technical skills and knowledge in the best way possible; engage in the planning, design, construction and management of structures; and are capable of designing, implementing, evaluating and improving civil engineering systems — thereby serving society and humanity and being employable in institutions and organizations operating in both national and global sectors.
Vision
The vision of the Department is to train civil engineers who possess a perspective that enables them to be admitted to graduate education worldwide, sustain their academic development, embrace lifelong learning and have a strong research and development mindset.
Purpose
To educate engineers with strong infrastructure, high sensitivity to people and the environment, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work effectively in international-scale projects as part of a team.
Goals
To train civil engineers who complete tasks in professional life successfully by making effective decisions within ethical, professional and legal frameworks; contribute to environmental and construction policies and the development of engineering services; and provide social and economic benefits to their communities.
